Management Sciences for Health (MSH) seeks a Procurement Specialist for a 5 –year USAID-funded Accessible Continuum of Care and Essential Services Sustained (ACCESS) program in Madagascar. The purpose of the program is to build the capacity of Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) actors at the district level and below in all districts in the implementation regions, to design, develop, manage, deliver, monitor and evaluate health services and programs in their catchment areas. The activity will also engage with regional health authorities with limited interventions to ensure coordination, planning and effective management of health activities in their districts.
The Procurement Specialist, under the guidance of the Procurement Manager, is responsible for providing support with all purchases for goods and applicable services for the ACCESS program in Madagascar, in compliance with MSH procurement policies and procedures. S/he sources vendors, negotiates contracts, ensures prompt delivery and liaises with the accounting office to ensure that vendors are paid in a timely manner. The Procurement Specialist is cognizant of, and adheres to, MSH’s Code of Business Ethics and Procurement Integrity Standards.
