  • Overview

    The Human Resources Coordinator shall provide support in handling Human Resource (HR) functions including recruitment and selection processes, personnel data management, leave management, coordinate payroll documentation, conduct security checks and enrol employees on insurance schemes as necessary.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Coordinate recruitment processes with hiring managers and post advertisement in local and international job boards.
    • Arrange with hiring managers and attend selection interviews.
    • Ensure collection of appropriate documentation to create personnel files for new employees and entering new hire information into HRIS.
    • Coordinate the on-boarding of new employees, including arranging all logistics for orientation and placement.
    • Coordinate the relocation processes of new and separated employees
    • Manage the employee leave bank, processing and ensure corresponding entries on timesheets.
    • Coordinate, review and manage MSH benefits packages.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management or any related field 
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a large and busy organization coordinating HR activities
    • Knowledge of Malawi labour laws.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints.
    • Experience with MS Office packages, email and internet preferred.
