The Integrated Health Project Plus (IHPplus) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is a three-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project began in June 2015 and currently ends in June 2018. IHPplus is implemented by MSH and Overseas Strategic Consulting, Ltd., under a subcontract with the Evidence to Action (E2A) Project.   IHPplus has two components--“Services” and “Other Health Systems”-- designed to create better conditions for, and increase the availability and use of, high-impact health services, products, and practices in 126 target health zones in nine health provinces: 1) Kasaï; 2) Kasaï Central; 3) Lomami; 4) Kasaï Oriental; 5) Sankuru; 6) Haut Lomami; 7) Lualaba; 8) Sud Kivu; and 9) Haut Katanga.   The project provides direct support for service delivery and health systems strengthening activities. The service component includes increased use of high impact family planning, maternal, newborn, and child health (FP/MNCH), nutrition, malaria, tuberculosis (TB), water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services and products, and the adoption of healthy practices in targeted health zones.   Please note: - Internship candidates must be full- or part-time students earning university credit for their internship. - This is an unpaid internship and candidates are responsible for their own housing and transportation.

LINKAGES is a five-year cooperative agreement funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and implemented by FHI 360 in partnership with Pact, IntraHealth International and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). In Angola, MSH is LINKAGES’ operating partner. The project aims to accelerate the ability of governments, key population (KP) organizations and private sector providers to collaboratively plan, deliver, and optimize services that reduce HIV transmission among KPs – sex workers (SW), men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender (TG) persons and people who inject drugs (PWIDs) – and their sexual partners and extend life for those who are HIV-positive. The project goal will be achieved through the following results:   - Result 1: Increased availability of comprehensive prevention, care and treatment services including reliable coverage across the continuum of care for key populations. - Result 2: Demand for comprehensive prevention, care and treatment services among key populations enhanced and sustained. - Result 3: Strengthened systems for planning, monitoring, evaluating and assuring the quality of programs for key populations.   The LINKAGES Angola program is a four-year program tasked with strengthening the Government of the Republic of Angola (GRA) and community responses to KP to help reduce HIV transmission among FSW, MSM, and TG, and to improve capacity and systems required to enroll and maintain KP in care.  LINKAGES will work with the Ministry of Health, National Institute for the Fight Against AIDS (INLS in Portuguese) to accelerate emerging GRA programming toward KP.  The objective is to strengthen the care cascade for KP and leveraging other PEPFAR programs in high impact sites of priority provinces.  LINKAGES will then reach KP through scaling up proven peer interventions, testing, and strengthened facility, community and GRA outreach, with specific focus on minimizing stigma and discrimination.   Overall Responsibilities: The Testing, Care and Treatment Technical Assistant will work as part of a team to ensure that CSO partners improve their ability to offer HIV counselling and testing regularly to KP members as well as link HIV+ patients to care and treatment. As part of the Testing, Care and Treatment technical team, the Assistant will contribute to ensuring national clinical standards are followed by teams and that they are knowledgeable and competent to offer clinical services in the community. Under the overall direction of the Senior Manager of the Supply Chain Team, the MSH Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting MSH’s Travel Program including analysis of processes and technology related to business travel with the objective of making the program more efficient and effective. This individual will oversee the corporate relationship with MSH’s off-site travel service agency, Atlas Travel. This includes taking part in maintaining relationships with key suppliers in an effort to establish corporate rates while administering and communication MSH’s travel related policies and procedures. The MSH Senior Procurement Analyst is aware of, and adheres to, MSH’s Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
